Why Now?
current as of August 28, 2006
Your San Francisco Giants have been floundering up and down all year, and finally when I have my sights set on the first game of the Sharks season do they roll off 11 of 14 to bring themselves to within two games of the NL wildcard, and 3.5 of the West lead.
Why do they constantly make me care and then ultimately let me down in the final games of the season? Why do they hit in crucial spots now and blow it in the first 16 weeks of the season? Why do they torture us with Armando, and trot out Barry to pinch hit in tight finishes even though he’s hitting .250? Why is the fire burning brighter now, and not two months ago? Why are the faces of the aged veterans embossed with cheer and smiles now?
because they are your San Francisco Giants… and it seems they may have figured out how to play again… time for a playoff push!

Dan, I think it looks pretty darn good! I like your pic.
I’m making the transition from blogspot to wordpress, and it took me nearly an hour to get that one little post and two pics up from last night’s class. The interface is just enough different that it took me a while to sort it out…but I’m sure we’ll catch on.
